The Karen Nevitt Memorial Scholarship, established January 2023
Karen was a member of CFUW for a total of 19 years including the past 17 years. Like so many other members, she joined CFUW for the comradery and to take part in Special Interest Groups, including the gardening, lunch, dinner, travel and art groups. Karen was interested in cooking, had a gorgeous garden, loved touring art galleries and doing her own art creations, including making jewelry. Most of all Karen was a true teacher with a passion for education, and loved that CFUW awarded scholarships. The family, in partnership with our Club, is setting up a scholarship in Karen’s memory, the Karen Nevitt Memorial Scholarship.
